Home Is Where The Hart Is – Just Ask Spurs Fans!

Talk to any football fan, and they’ll tell you their biggest passion, their love, desire and more lives within their home stadium. The glory, the agony, all from the stands as eleven men play to get the best result and fight for points & trophies. However, for Tottenham Hotspur fans, things could be taken a little more literally. They say “home is where the heart is”, but when you go to White Hart Lane – you could say “home is where the Hart is” – so we’ve decided to make that... Read More

The New League Season Is Almost Here!

It hardly feels like a few moments ago since Chelsea prized the Premiership title away from Manchester for the first time since 2010, and yet we’re now less than a week away from the new season kicking it all off again. As mentioned earlier, Chelsea are defending their Premier League Title against 19 more challengers – of which Bournemouth make their first ever appearance, plus the return of Watford and Norwich to the top tier will make this season, pretty much like every year, a nail-biter from top to bottom.... FIFA 16: Lionel Messi and…

…Alex Morgan. At least, if you live in the USA, that is. The upcoming EA Sports game FIFA 16 is to feature different players on their covers, depending on your location – and in North America it’ll feature a woman for the first time ever. Alex Morgan (pictured, left) has almost 100 caps for her national side America with 52 goals, and recently won the Women’s World Cup with them. Women’s Football Takes the Spotlight

Amidst all the corruption scandals, boring friendly internationals and summer break, one thing is shining away in Football right now – and that’s the women of the sport. There’s plenty to be happy about if you’re a fan of the women playing the beautiful game: for the first time ever, women’s international teams will feature in the FIFA video game series (see right, a screenshot from the upcoming FIFA 16), and of course right now the Women’s World Cup is taking place in Canada. At this early point in the... Read More

FA Cup Final: All in the A’s

So when it came down to it all… all we had to do to get our FA Cup final was pick the first two teams alphabetically in the Premier League. The final, taking place this weekend pits Aston Villa – who managed to hang on to their Premier League status this season – against 3rd placed (and current FA Cup holders) Arsenal. It seems inevitable as to who should win this one, but as we’ve seen even just 2 years ago with Wigan and Manchester City, it can be anything... Read More
